Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television host in America and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, provides simple techniques that any person can master. The chef Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She has also explored Italy's cuisine and its culture as well as the geography. Growing up in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion for food and cooking from a young age. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in restaurant management after she earned an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced the most enjoyable time of my life. Culinary Institute of America was an excellent place to study. After graduating from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners, chef Burrell spent an entire year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. While in Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and understanding of Italian culinary traditions. This had an enormous effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that aims to make a difference in the lives of kids facing difficulties. Additionally, she is a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador who promotes awareness of the condition known as juvenile diabetes. Burrell travels extensively across the country in her role as a mentor as well as a an invited speaker, where she talks about her career and love of cooking. Anne always felt fortunate that she had the opportunity to share her love of her life, cooking with others.
